Talk about Ukraine

On Thursday 12^th May from 6pm (via zoom), medical student Christian Mitchell will be presenting a talk about Ukraine. The talk will be moderated by Dr Dita Wickins-Drazilova, the School’s EDI rep. Zoom link is below.

In Christian’s words: “The recent Russian invasion of Ukraine has been devastating. I am an intercalating medical student with Ukrainian grandparents and a Ukrainian mother, and family and friends in Ukraine. I, like many Ukrainians around the world, have been shocked and deeply saddened over the past few months. I have been invited to talk about Ukraine, briefly covering recent history, culture, and what being Ukrainian means to me.”
