MedSoc is a huge society run by a dedicated committee of students, for the students of Birmingham Medical School. Our main focus is to provide an excellent range of extra-curricula activities, so every student has everything they need to have a good work-life balance whilst at University! We have just under 70 academic societies, charities, sports clubs and arts groups, so you’ll find something of interest whatever you love! In addition, we provide plenty of academic support and have a packed social calendar from an epic annual Ball to weekends away in Europe and regular fancy dress nights out. Our lovely ex-President Charlie talks more about all of this in his video above!
Central to Birmingham MedSoc is the ethos of inclusivity. All students at the College of Medical and Dental Sciences are encouraged to join. From those studying Biomedical Science to Dentistry, drinkers or non-drinkers, academics or sportsmen/women, indeed any student at the College is welcome! Come join our community, I genuinely couldn’t recommend it enough! MedSoc really does provide a sense of community, friends for life and will become central to your University experience!
Whether you’re a prospective student or a successful applicant, you can further explore everything Birmingham MedSoc has to offer on our dedicated society website and to keep up to date with Birmingham MedSoc, follow us on Instagram (@bhammedsoc) and like us on Facebook (@medsocbham). We look forward to welcoming you all!
