The Official page for UBMS’ Performing Art’s Society (ARTE).

Fancy yourself as an actor, dancer, or singer? Love musical theatre? Just looking to try something new? Then ARTE is for you! We are MedSoc’s Performing Arts Society, and we perform one musical and one play each year. Supported by a full band of maestros, previous musicals include ‘9 to 5’, ‘In the Heights’, ‘Chicago’, and past plays include ‘And Then There Were None’ and ’The 39 Steps’. ARTE’s 2021 musical is Legally Blonde! We’re incredibly excited for this production, and freshers have the opportunity to audition! Regardless of your experience, we’d love for you to show us what you’ve got! The auditions are relaxed and great fun and we promise being involved in the musical will be one of the best things you do in MedSchool! We’re also on the hunt for creative people to design set, and backstage crew! If sound and lighting are more up your street, check out the MedSoc Tech team!
