Revue

/rɪˈvjuː/

noun

noun: revue; plural noun: revues

  1. a light theatrical entertainment consisting of a series of short sketches, songs, and dances, typically dealing satirically with topical issues.

Example: the Birmingham Medical School Comedy Revue is a group of (self-proclaimed) funny people who write, direct and star in an annual come

dy show with sketches revolving around student life, medicine, and the world at large. All of the proceeds go to charity; after three amazing nights of our 46th annual show in 2020, we raised over £2,500 for Medicine San Frontier!!

Now, you might think we are pretentious leading with a definition… and yes, yes we are. But last year they didn’t spell our name correctly, and it’s not exactly like you knew what a ‘revue’ was anyway. No one likes a know it all, but people do love comedy review… I mean revue… woops.
