If you’ve got an interest in medical ethics, current affairs or just generally arguing then this is the society for you! Debate Soc run weekly sessions where we debate a mix of medical ethics and both medical and non-medical current affairs. This is a great society for experienced debaters and newbies alike. Our society is focused on developing our knowledge, reasoning skills and awareness of issues more than competitive debating, though we do dabble in it occasionally. If you have any questions, come find us at the freshers’ fair and we’ll be happy to help or (like every other society) you can find us on Facebook for updates on all our exciting events that we have planned for the coming year!
