Dermatology Society – DermSoc
The Official page for UBMS’s Dermatology Society.
DermSoc is a society which engages students in dermatology teaching and awareness. We host many events to support students’ learning, share interesting clinical cases and promote skin/ body positivity. In 2021 we held out first national undergraduate conference!
We are supported by the British Association of Dermatologists and compete against other dermatology societies in ‘Battle of the DermSocs’, where we aim to have the best social media presence and raise as much money as possible for the British Skin Foundation. We are so proud to be Battle of the DermSoc Champions for 2020/21!
We hope to involve as many first-year students as possible in DermSoc, so if you are interested in learning more about the skin, want to promote body positivity or help to fundraise for a fantastic cause, we recommend signing up at Freshers Fair to become a member of DermSoc.
