As a society, we aim to raise funds for and awareness of MSF’s work, as well as follow their outspoken stance in encouraging students towards activism in the face of global medical and humanitarian injustice. We hit the ground running each year with our summer Facebook blog series ‘MSF in Focus‘ where students submit articles on topical international healthcare issues.
In March we host an annual conference, with discussions and talks around a theme by a range of professionally diverse speakers on their experiences working with MSF and advice for prospective humanitarian healthcare workers.
Other key events we do include our pub quiz, speaker events, art competitions and many more throughout the year. We’re excited to kickstart 2022-2023 so check out our social media pages to stay tuned for more. Hope to see you all soon!
