Welcome to the Pathology Society at the University of Birmingham (aka PathSoc)!
Pathology is the study of diseases and it is a broad specialty in medicine. PathSoc aims to educate students about pathology as a career, especially the variety of subspecialties available and host revision sessions to help students throughout the year. We hold pathology-themed events throughout the year, including lectures from consultants, histology revision sessions (believe me, you’ll need them!) and clinical pathology sessions. One of our annual highlights is the PathSoc murder mystery, where we incorporate histology and forensic pathology to create an unforgettable evening!
