“We are the University’s dedicated society for those interested in all things Sports and Exercise Medicine and welcome you to join our society! Through our own talks and conferences, as well as those of other SEM societies both nationally and internationally, we explore a wide range of topics related to Sports Medicine, both from a clinician’s and athletes’ perspective.
We also have a dedicated alumni database, with many returning to speak to us about their experiences whilst at University, what they achieved during electives and intercalations, and how they have continued to develop their CV and personal connections whilst being full-time doctors.

We are a rapidly expanding society and the aim is for this year to be our most successful yet. As a member of the society, we can offer you:
– Regular educational events featuring speakers ranging from those with pitchside experience to expert researchers in the pinnacle of their field!
– Talks from students and alumni exploring opportunities in Sports Medicine whilst at University – Electives placements, First aid, Intercalation opportunities and more!

- First-hand perspectives from elite athletes about their experiences
