Welcome to BMWFC! Whether you’re just looking to stretch your legs after a long day of lectures, wanting to try a new sport out, meet new people, or keen on giving Steph Houghton a run for her money, we’re the club for you! We train every Wednesday evening at 8pm on the Bournbrook pitches, and have a bunch of great socials in between so you can really get to know everyone. As well as having many socials, we go on an unmissable BMWFC tour each year, an amazing weekend away at a great location, historically Dublin, Amsterdam, Madrid, and Belfast – and no football is played during the weekend either! We play in a Sunday League against other women’s teams in the area, but there’s also the chance to play in the NAMS (National Association of Medical Schools) tournament each year against the nation’s women’s MedSoc teams, as well as the opportunity to just come to training without playing in the league!
